First of all, Fabienne and I, together with all the members of the organising committee of the INA 12th would like to warmly thank you for your participation to the meeting. Thanks to your different contributions, the conference in Lyon was characterised by a high scientific level, discussions were challenging, and social events really enjoyable!
118 people from 28 countries (and from all the continents!) attended the conference. PhD students were also numerous and their works remarkably good. Six PhD students received an award from the INA Foundation for their high-quality oral or poster presentations. The INA community is lively and young!
We would like to remind you that the proceedings of the conference will be published in a thematic issue of Geobios, the International Palaeontological Journal of the University of Lyon (Elsevier publications; Impact Factor 2007: 0.658 - Source: Journal Citation Reports ®2008, published by Thomson Scientific; Indexation: Current Contents, Science Citation Index, Geoabstracts, Biological Abstracts, Pascal/INIST-CNRS, Scopus).
We wish to have a INA 12th issue with high-quality papers, reflecting all the diversity of the presentations that occurred during the conference.
The authors are asked to submit their contribution online at the following address: http://ees.elsevier.com/geobio/. A link to 'Guide for Authors' and other instructions for preparing the manuscript will be found on the site. The length of the submitted manuscripts (Font: Times New Roman 12, with 1.5 interlines) should not exceed 20 pages including references and figures.
We would like to have the thematic issue of Geobios published before the INA 13th in Yamagata, Japan, this means that contributions should be submitted from now until December the 1st 2008, and the reviewed manuscripts definitely accepted by June the 1st, 2009.
