[UPDATED : JUNE, 23th 2008]
The post-conference field trip will visit sections located in the famous Vocontian basin where marl-limestone alternations spectacularly outcrop from the lowermost Jurassic to the Upper Cretaceous. The unconformity transition to the 'Nummulitic Sea' deposits will be also visited. By the way to the south-east France, a stop will be devoted to the topic 'Geology and Wine' thanks to the visit of the Côtes du Rhône vineyards.

The Fieldtrip Guide Book (Livret Guide Excursion) will be published in "Notebooks on Geology"

Departure by Bus from CAMPUS DE LA DOUA: June, 11th at 8.00 am
Back by Bus to CAMPUS DE LA DOUA : June, 13th at 2.00 pm

The excursion fees will be around 200 euros.
The number of participants will not exceed 30-40 people.
